As Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, Dan McPhillips is responsible for collecting revenue based on the sale of each property that is brought or sold in Bucks County. Dan’s office then distributes that revenue back to the local communities, including local municipalities and school districts though-out Bucks County. 

Dan McPhillips’ father, John was a U.S. Army veteran who fought in the Korean War. As the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, Dan is proud to work with veterans throughout Bucks County to record their military discharge papers for Free and advise them of veteran discount programs offered to veterans for products and services in Bucks County.

Dan McPhillips is committed to being a truly accessible elected official. He regularly meets with Bucks County residents, holds mobile office hours at Lower, Central and Upper Bucks County locations ensuring he is always within reach. Dan even goes the extra mile—literally—by personally delivering requested deeds across the county. His office hosts monthly history socials, inviting the public to visit and learn about the history of Bucks County, and engage with their community.
